A large group of P3-D engineers from AMSAT-DL (including our european team members from Belgium, Czech republic, Finland and Slovenia) and AMSAT-NA were in Orlando/Florida from March 03 until March 26 to finalize the P3-D spacecraft after the successful Thermal Vacuum testing in Washington. All electronics were completely tested again and some corrections were made, where necessary. Most of the module electronics have been now foamed or covered with conformal coating in preparation for the final vibration/shake test (the top plates of the modules below are covered with photos from the inside for better demonstration). Another final check-out of all electronics will be conducted when the spacecraft returns from the vibration test. After this we are ready for launch, which is to be expected for later this year!! More details about the launch as they become officially available.
